Did I find one of the 50c Millenium Falcons

I know it looks pretty beat up so it's hard to tell if it fits the description I was given in the thread below. Is it one of the abnormalities and is it actually worth anything?

The thread below shows what to look for, however wiith mine being in a rough condition its harder to tell. You're looking forr double edges apparently.
 
Slightly LARGER Federation Star, that is evenly smooth - not the 'sunken' smaller Star, is the easiest thing to look for.

From the photos .... that's NOT it.


BTW, whole rolls go for around $100. on ebay.

Is that who.e rolls of the freak coin? Meaning they don't have much value? In which case I won't bother continue looking.....
 
No, the rolls are 'security' company rolls ( usually just plain light brown paper with no markings ), and are taken to be all the ordinary version of the coin.

Some buyers acquire the rolls to break them open, in the hope of finding an UNC incused ( which could be worth up to a few hundred when slabbed ).

A roll of year 2000 $1. recently went for $937. on ebay. I'm thinking, the buyer was hoping to find an UNC mule in there ( potentially up to $5,000. as a high grade slabbed coin ).

The normal one has the 'double' crosses, but the incuse has only the double diagonals and wider vertical/horizontal bars.

Pretty banged up to be worth anything, but still nice to have :)
 
Do you mean incused? Millenium Falcon is the war ship in Star Wars?

Those 2 coins are not incused.

I just callex it Millenium falcon because I'm a star wars fan.

The photo's are of the same coin, just different angles to try and give a better view for id.
 
There are various opinions here.

One could easily say yes, this coin is, and someone else say, no it isn't.

Rather than looking at the flag, I still think the best marker to look for, is the Star ...

Yes, in my amateur opinion it was. But as I'm at work I couldn't open the link I posted and can't compare closely.

Either way it would have been worth very little in that state, I'm sure.
