Decisions, decisions.

Time to buy. Not much money but do I:

1. Buy that 1kg Goat I wanted for a while
2. Buy a half ounce gold (kangaroo)
3. Buy 25 x 1oz Kangaroos

These are the only alternatives I'm considering. Which is best?

I know someone is going to ask what I want to achieve so:

I want to increase my stack in terms of volume OR add some gold which I don't have.

BUT

I will flip sometime when I see value. Especially the goat.

I'll get the Ag.

Lunar goat is not a popular animal in Chinese Zodiac. If it is the Dragon/Tiger/Ox/Mouse then yes go for it.

Goat... "Mehhhh" :p

Good for you. Always best to get what you like. Less chance of buyer's remorse. Personally, I prefer gold to silver. Smaller footprint.

Actually the smaller footprint is a pretty good and overlooked advantage to gold. I am heavily space constrained so I might convert some silver to gold when the time is right.

Also a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to post anywhere, $1k easily fits in the smallest envelope with little effort. Silver is such a hassle and postage takes a good few ounces out of your pocket if you're not doing your best to minimize it. Most don't even factor it into their ounce cost average.
