Dealers - what can you report?

Hate the credit cards,banks ect
Don't have one anymore and don't want another one.
If you have to implement card payment can you exclude those who have a track record of paying?
 
We quite like the fact that our website isn't a credit card scammer/hacker honeypot, so it's not likely to happen. Phone confirmations are probably kicking in from tomorrow though on new clients.

Do whatever you have to do to ensure customers meet their contractual obligations. Perth mint requires CC. You only get charged on the credit card if you don't pay via bank xfer.

I can see how it would make things a lot more complicated though. maybe a reward system for good payers would be better?

I'll chip in with my two cents worth here, if I may?

Goldstackers, just like all the other dealers here work hard to give us all access to trustworthy supplies of PM's in order to build our stack - and from my conversations with some of these dealers, there's very little in the way of financial reward for them - they're keen to get the best possible prices for us, and pass on as good a price as they possibly can.

Honestly, I couldn't support the idea of giving a reward to folks for doing what they're supposed to do (and agree to!) in the first place... that is, place and order, and make a direct deposit (or other accepted payment) in time.

Heck, I make the transfer within 5 minutes of getting the invoice, and I do that intentionally to get the cash to the dealer as quickly as possible to help them who help us.
 
I guess the real sacrifice dealers make is that the one day both kids are in daycare, and I have my first fly fishing day trip scheduled in a year, I'll be in the office instead :(
 
What I'm seeing here in the USA, FWIW:

I'm reading a lot of reports over the last week or so from disgruntled customers of Goldmart about delayed (or non-existant) shipping. It looks like they are (or were) selling product they don't actually have in stock and are having trouble filling orders.

Tulving is also sold out of almost all the silver bullion that they normally have in stock.

Sales volume at Apmex for 10 ozt and 1ozt gold bars and 100ozt silver bars appears to have been very heavy over the last few days.

With gold down $125+ in a few hours I think you will see plenty trying to bug out deals in the last few days.

like i said before we need a consolidated blacklist of people who lock in orders and then don't commit. That will fix them up real quick, too many people hop around to another dealer when they cancel out on one dealer, but if they have no choice in the market that should solve alot of the issues.

Gold Stackers appear to be totally out of all stock for all metals. Bullion Bourse is a 4 week wait for delivery. Shortage or what?
 
Gold Stackers is just closed for the night - simplest way to shut the website down is put everything out of stock for the night.
