We always knew the redback did extremely well and selling at over $1000 on the secondary market...

But wow, did not realise the Blue Ringed Octopus was also doing so well. Talisman selling it for $999 and on ebay nothing under $750.

Talisman coin prices are not based on any form of market reality. They have a brand name in the market and hope for those who dont really care about price to buy from their website at exorbitant prices.

Looking at Talisman prices I was actually shocked to see them selling coins cheaper than Perth Mint release prices!

Talisman have a reputation of making pre-sale cheap and then not ship it out when the coin is hot. They also have a reputation of over price their stuff and then do a "you save $xxx" to bring the price down to "market" price. Only newbie would fall for that trick.

They sometimes can actually Selectively filling the order. ONLY shipped you the flopped coin that they CANNOT sell at high price on Ebay, and NOT to ship you the coin that they can sell at high price on Ebay. Even BOTH coins are in the same order! They are CROOKS!

Anyone think there will be another in the series?

Well what would it be. They already have both dangerous spiders, a snake, a shark, jellyfish, octopus - would they do another species of the same type of animal? Crocodile is taken.

Scorpion? While painful they don't kill here as far as I know. Inch ant or a whole nest of bull ants? They're definitely painful. Dingo? Stone fish?

I reckon they'd get a good image on a coin from a red-bellied black snake but would it be different enough from a brown snake?

They haven't done stingray yet have they.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but just wondering if anyone's seen any of these in auction as of late? In particular the Red Back...?

I believe a member was selling it here on the forum lately.dont know who was it though...
