It's very sad to see the human side of the story, certainly has a much bigger impact than seeing some numbers on a graph.

You'd have to say most of southern europe and ireland is in a depression and france and england are vulnerable as well.
 
change soem of the architecture, the language and we could well be looking at ourselves in the not too distant future.
 
^ only worse, I fear our neighbours/ community wouldn't be standing up for us being evicted as in the "community solidarity" they have demonstrated in that story.

Too true, our house is in a nice area, bought it in the 80s before everything went crazy. Neighbours houses have been bought, sold and subdivided many times all around us, I reckon if the bank came to evict us the neighbours would be putting in offers before we were out the door.
