Just sneak in the toilet and purchase from your phone/ By next year phones will be even more advanced..


- You won't lose a days pay of work
- You take a much needed break
- Get paid to sheet (the best)
- Get cheap silver
- Make money in the future from selling that silver

It's a win win situation
 
It worked ok for me but as I needed to be out the door to work I did not have time to get into the stackers website. Once at work I managed to log into Aurora via phone briefly and snap up a couple of goodies. With a bit more notice next year I could have a bit more 'budget' ready. My Thanks to all involved.
 
Great day GP . The day was an interesting time to sit and watch. I missed the start as it was 5am here. got myself a small order just before the end. definitely do it again next year. cheers from VN.
 
I'm actually quite happy with the outcome - this really was a spur-of-the-moment thing that was organised on Friday, so I would like to thank again all of the dealers who were able to respond and participate on such short notice.

The Perth Mint had to graciously decline this year - purely on the grounds of such short notice for an organisation their size - but don't worry, we'll get 'em onboard next year ;)
 
It was one of the better American ideas!

I wasn't going to spend any of my own money on Monday, just add a little to the SMSF. But then I figured, why should the Governement get all the discounts and I broke out the bank account.

If I had more notice I would have stopped buying last month to save a bit of cash but the 1 per customer limit meant that you really couldn't do too much at each site.

The staggered start was a nice touch, I only managed to be around for a few of the starts but the places I could get to in time sorted me out nicely!

I like the idea of Perth Mint getting on board, would we be buying through a dealer in order to get the bulk discounts or would we shop direct from the PM website?

I would expect it would be the numismatic site joining in the sale if they are to be part of it next year.

You just need to employ more IT staff next year to reboot the servers as they crash :lol:

In that case it was a monumental undertaking and Bravo for pulling it together!!!
Didn't realise you guys were walking the wire so close to Monday.
Gotta say then that was a class act and i retract the weekend statement and put it forward for next year!

definately do it again next year. i didnt have much cash but would be keen for the next time it happens. hopefully it helped to promote all the dealers websites and get them some extra traffic and whatnot.
 
Great idea, love it. Just a little bit of warning would have been so helpful. I could have starved the family for a week to buy more.
