They sell $500k jewlery items at costco.
Ive looked at the watch case that had $50k-$100k+ high end watches and thought does any one buy this stuff while buying bulk noodles?.
Then one day i saw an asian bloke calling over a staff member and bought a $30k necklace for his missus who was pushing around a giant trolley of bottled water at northlakes lol.
That answered my question i had always wondered when walking past the jewlery display case ahaha, the asians do lol

You would think sales like that would only happen in speciality stores where you need tobe seen getting out of a porche to even be granted entry to the store lol, nope they happen in bulk discount style super markets while driving a shopping cart with water that costs only $10 for a 36 pack, while dressed in tracksuit pants Ahaha

The fact that costco sell coffins there, that are on display next to the spabath thats on display next to a coke machine. Well gold and silver bullion being sold at costco doesnt surprise me at all lol

I trade bullion in my shop too over fiat for goods and any services rendered. If everyone did the govmint would have a meltdown :)

Probably in downunder where all the rich prc scions with their parents gotten wealth goes, but this doesn't happen here.
 
My local Costco here in the USA isn't selling any bullion. Costco.com doesn't have any listed either. Is this bullion sale limited to their UK operations?
 
They maybe just testing the water over there in the UK.

I am all for any conglomerate taking the initiative, even if
their premiums will be higher than a standard dealer.
Anything to get it out there to inform the public.
Most are asleep.

In the company’s earnings call on Thursday, CFO Richard Galanti said that Costco sold $100 million in one-ounce gold bars between July and September.

According to media reports, during the call Galanti was asked what consumer trends Costco was seeing this holiday season; he answered: "They're buying gold."

In 2020, Costco started selling gold to its U.K. members and added it to North American stores earlier this year. Members are limited to two bars from the same supplier each and according to Galanti, the gold sells out in hours.

Costco has started selling 20 coin tubes of Silver Eagles via their website here in the USA. They sell out quick when available.
