Copper/Brass medals cast by the Shanghai Mint..

Brass, silver and gold are official releases by that mint. Just don't know if this mint is a subsidiary of one of the official mints and if NGC will grade it. I believe the pic of the copper which i posted at first is the sample.

The mintages of the 3 types are at the bottom of the flyer i posted.

fyi ,I asked our friend money pro 2 questions on the silver 30th medal, mintage is 99 ? and what mint was it is produced at: his answers-
Yes
shanghai caiqi mint

I am going to see if i can get an answer from NGC if they will grade these medals,I will post

Minted by this company .

This company is not a mint, whatever you define a Mint is. I don't see how this company could be a subsidiary of Shanghai mint or any one of the official mint.

Actually after NGC grades the Xi Shi medal (which clearly is not minted by one of the official mint) I doubt NGC strictly follow their own rule. I thought it is misleading to say Xi Shi medal is minted by one of the offical mint because NGC certify it.

Either I am completely wrong, or Shanghai Mint has too many name.

The COA says the medal is minted by another company other than Shanghai Mint.

It could be the company is a subsidiary (I don't know) of Shanghai Mint but the COA is definitely not signed by Shanghai Mint.

The COA doesn't clearly state whether brass or copper. It is either one, can't be both. If luckymoneyro says brass, then brass.

I am blind. The COA does say brass, mintage 999. No mention of copper.

Received today from luckmoneyro:

Unfortunately Luckmoneyro is the only source i have in buying medals from China. Can you share any cheaper links that you may have?

150898032400 I have had a lot of luck with this guy (frank) thincat

Ihave had good luck with frank (THINCAT00). There is another seller who has medals and he is reliable fishionty . He has some different ones. I bought the FOUR BEAUTIES from him because he had them in brass. I see luckmoneyro is actually putting one silver medal up for bid. he also has best offer on many items. Maybe there is not a good market for these medals. They are so beautiful.

Planning on grading a couple of medals, not so much for the grade, but they are too pretty to stuff in a box, and would like them in holders. Anyone have any tips for sending them to NGC, minimums, cost etc...their site wasnt too clear.

Thank you

you have to send them on a separate invoice, another words anything oversized has to be on an invoice seperate from your regular sized coins ,
what a lot of people dont realize it is $20.00 additional for the oversized holder so grading fees are going to be apx 36.50 plus ship per medal , lots of folks dont take that into account ,all your 5oz panda,s also have the up charge.............

Hi, i am new to this forum. Just received the silver medal from supplier today and hope to share with you guys!

Less that $1200 USD. ;) He listed them for sale in the Panda section here . . . . I would go though luckmoneyro personally.
