It may be nice to leave these for the American public to buy. In some states they are legal tender for the price of silver/gold and I think this will spread and the yanks will need them. The same could be said for the Phil's in the Euro Zone, our currency and now that I think of it every foreign currency gold/silver coin. I think the people of the world would be better off with more of their silver and gold coins in their country, what do you think?

Except that the Perth Mint seems to place selling coins overseas as a priority, and they don't consider Australian customers as particularly relevent to their business model these days.

Is it expected that Americans will pay way over spot for their own silver dollars coins? How do you sell to Americans when the time comes or do we you hope the bullion house's here in Australia will reiterate that price. American Gold 1 once coins are more expensive than than the kanga's.

That's because they are subject to GST. They aren't 9999 pure like the PM gold coins.

The only US gold coin not subject to GST is the Buffalo.
