I always wonder why the 'thickness' of coins are not frequently published along with the diameter. if someone wanted to make copies, they could get the diameter right, and just make the coins thicker to get correct weight.
As rbaggio pointed out, specifications in Wikipedia or found through Google usually omit the thickness.
I am wondering if there is a single source for the full specifications of all modern gold and silver bullion coins (including fractionals).
Maybe we should have a go at compiling such a reference page?
The Fisch only tests a limited number of coins and none of the modern silver bullion, and an accurate scale and caliper are only useful if you have known values to compare against.

Great idea, it'd be great to have reference page here with all sizes available etc.
It'd make life a lot easier. I'm only just finding out how many different varieties there are just for Tigers, haven't even start looking at the rest of em, and I thought Pandas were varied!!! wow
