Hard to type whilst happy-dancing, but here goes:

We're very low income, with 1.5 minimum wages between my partner and I. I'm working on further education to increase the job prospects, but in the meantime, we're pretty busted. Nonetheless, we have been scraping together what fiat we have, in the last couple of months, (including found in coat pockets), to buy silver. Guess what!
When spot nudged over the line into $43: We found we had $1000 worth! That's just under 24oz, (not counting the non-silver weight of the sterling coins).

As most of it would sell for more than spot, we had $1000 worth sometime last week, but having $1000 worth, even at spot, is very groovy.

Lament not, your lack of big bucks, for they are made from lots of little bucks, and big stacks from little stacks!

Thats what it's all about Ag-ness , a little here a little there . For some people it is just one buy but for a lot of people here I'd guess that is how a lot of people stack, when and where and how they can .

Every little bit you can gather is a whole lot more than most are stacking.

I was the same way when I started. Seemed futile collecting those 90% and 50% coins, but once u keep going, the stack gets pretty big!

Thanks guys! I guess if I had to wait until they started making 10oz bars again, the price would climb out of reach by the time I had the money. I have no lump sum to start with, so at the moment silver is just giving the change in my pocket a higher pitched jingle, so to speak. Come to think of it, no, I wouldn't carry 24oz of anything in my pocket! Wooo!

No worries, bg. I've found that if you buy what your budget allows, regardless of the price, it averages out nicely. One week I just bought a couple of sixpences, it was all I had!
