You can't eat land. And how many people on earth are entirely self-sufficient? Even those claiming that they are rely on the efforts of others to maintain their "self-sufficiency". Land with water is a nice lifestyle dream IMO so I'm going to put it in the "hedge" basket ie I'm not going to divert large sums into it because from an investment perspective it doesn't make much sense unless I'm looking for a lifestyle change or it can be sub-divided at some stage in the future.
If during a post-apocalyptic society I have an abundance of water then I may consider trading for bits of silver, more likely though I'll trade for other goods I need/want.
I don't see any evidence of that, in fact I see it as incredibly robust. 15 years of solid growth since "the system" was supposed to have totally collapsed.

My two cents' worth?
One: the shit goin' on in the world is (sadly) more like to push price up than down.
Two: both candidates are crypto positive.
Three: I really do think either election outcome could produce drama, which again (sadly) is good for price.
