1oz Horses were to much on release 10oz horses were $6 cheaper an oz. 1oz lunars are a rip off, the mint and flippers make a killing.
Shop wisely and get more silver for your dollar.

SSSHHH not to loud ;)

Thats no problem since all other coins than the 1 oz is unlimited and everyone can buy how many they want. The 1 oz coin always have a higher premium and will soon be sold out at The Perth Mint.

Not where I was going ,but hey

Of course ill get them to. And the other sizes of the horse coin. But the 1 oz horse will get and keep nice premiums in the future so ill get more of them, and it will be easy to find the other sizes at low premiums for a long time. So i can get more of them later. Im not the one not buying and having a problem with the premium on the 1 oz horse coin. Im sure ill get it back if and when im selling some.

Spot on right! My thoughts precisely! I can get all the other coins any time, and at good prices for some time to come...not so much on the 1 oz horses. I think any dealer who lists their 1 oz for 34 or lower will sell out in a flash, and I don't even think the quantity matters...be it 1,000 or a 100,000 in inventory, they will get soaked up...in short order...watch.

there are privy ones too, so

new privy collectors would emerge....and back tracking :|

The horses are stampeding! I'm sure 100 people will do well out of the great spot offer which is pretty generous. The rest of us can buy them once the dust settles.

But yes the site is dead, must be pretty popular these horses and GS must be popular too :D:D:D:D:D:D

All I know, is I'm glad I got my 75 already! 25 more to go...probably Gainesville or Provident will have the cheapest...100 and done...then focus on the others...2 oz and 1/2 oz...and kooks.

Sold out? :P

Dang they are going out as quick as they come in...I think it will slow down once Provident and G.C. Gets theirs, and/or APMEX starts selling them for anything over 40.00. Crazy.

barsenault, they have them in stock and are just letting them out a little at a time. I sold a mint box for a friend a few weeks ago. They didn't have that year in stock and didn't list it until the box arrived. So, they have the horse coins right now. Very smart selling strategy on their part to create the illusion of scarcity when they likely have tens of thousands of horse coins in stock. Of course, some of those coins have been sent to grading services. Gainesville is cheaper than Apmex and I expect Provident to be cheaper than Gainesville. A pullback in silver price and a pullback in the lunar horse coin premium would be a very nice combination. Say around mid September to mid October time frame. If not, I already have a lot of silver and don't need to buy any, so my personal risk is nil. And if the premiums stay up, my 2008 lunar mice and 2010 lunar tigers will look even better. :D

its call testing the market. when spot pull back, and no takers, we see what will be done.

but there is no point to be waiting as the seller has bought them cheap and prices will not likely to take a plunge that can cause seller to kick in a loss

there is no manipulation or misrepresentation here. none whatsoever.

same old crying about lunar prices
nothing changes year on year LOL

whens it go on sale at the Perthmint site..i'm guessing Monday 2nd Sept?

The item is currently limited and hot - if they sell the item at that price then someone was willing to meet their price, if not they lower the price till someone purchases it. Simple free market economics 101.

I haven't noticed willingness of buyers to buy at 43 ... none was sold!
why to increase price for 9% then?

this has nothing to have with economics ...
