Chase Burning - painting now at $10,000 on eBay

not sure what was the starting price. He says on the interview that he will release this week a new "CITI Burning" painting and will price it at 2 ounces of silver.

Amazing how fast can someone become famous....

Started out at 2 bit's 'o' silver didn't it? ($80)

Chase Burning started at $920 (half an ounce of gold)

The Bank of America painting started at two ounces of silver $85?

I don't know art, but I know what I like.

Can you still make art purchases through SMSF? :)

I think it is interesting that he is drawing parallels between his work and Vincent van Gogh.

He is a born salesman! :)

"I'm going to be setting the auction starting bid at the cost of just a half an ounce of gold in today's prices, or $920. "

oops just noticed aleks beat me to mention lol

I like it - both the painting and the statement it makes.

It's currently at $10,300 USD which tells me there are maybe a few people out there who think gold is worth more than $1820 :)

I heard about this piece of art.
I looked for it on ebay the other day and couldn't find it.
Thanks for locating it!

$25, 200

This is what he got for the painting. Not too bad for an unknown artist. ..

Unknown artist, well known (relatively) painting.

Not a fan, the building looks well rendered but the flames look a bit odd, still, what would I know, the art world has spoken, I wonder if it was bought by a member of the bank and whether we will ever see or hear of it again.

Hmmmm won by someone who has (0) feedback and has never bid on anything before, I suspect shenanigans and sabotage

Next he'll paint Goldman Sachs burning, and then HSBC, then Citibank, and then... start cashing in $25,000 on each painting.
