CBA/Bankwest - Breaking News!

I've been given permission tonight to post this. The news media will be reporting this next week.

I have previously posted information about allegations of misconduct conducted by CBA during the takeover of Bankwest. Some of these allegations seem too far fetched to be believe. In order to prevent the information from getting to the media CBA have been aggressively pursuing the founder of Unhappy Banking who has been the driving force behind finding out about the misconduct (eg. Bankwest was broke, CBA took them over and got mortgage insurance against Bankwest customers and forced them to fail to collect on the insurance ie. CBA short sold their own customers)

CBA use law firm Gadens Lawyers. After some investigation it has now been discovered that the Barrister that CBA have engaged is actually the same Barrister we used to get advice on this years ago and knows everything about our case and still has our files. The fact that he has given these files to CBA is clearly a conflict of interest and is illegal. CBA are denying that this Barrister is the same person but we have the proof which is now prepared in affadavit form to present to the Federal Court this week. CBA have been given till COB tomorrow to cease all actions. This will now free us up to present more evidence we have colated from whistleblower CBA & Bankwest staff to the media.

The NSW Bar Assocations have been notified to investigate and start stike off procedings against this Barrister.

Will keep you posted. But for now just imagine ... if these are the lengths CBA are going to to stop this information getting out, imagine the serious implications of the evidence we have against them .. then multiply it by 100.

Well funny you should mention that, because we have been approached by a movie producer to create an Eric Brokovich/A Class Action style movie. He mentioned some hollywood names that he will present the script to. Hopefully once we get through all the injunctions, you will hear more about this as well.

Just remember if your a terrier the key when you get on the pant leg is not to let go. They will attempt to give you a hell of a beating, just don't let go. When all seems lost just bite harder.

Or what? You'll continue to do what you were going to do anyway? That's not much of an incentive or 'threat' for them to stop...and who's going to enforce it anyway?

Yes you're right on all counts. There isn't actually an "or else" component. We are going to do everything we are going to regardless. It's just a question of if CBA want to be bollucked by the judge in front of all the media we are currently notifying or quietly withdraw all their legal claims.

I'd assume if they don't withdraw then the damages claim will be even greater than it already is.
 
A company the size of cba, what would a reasonable fine be?

Obviously 1mil is a lot to anyone, but that's only an hours profit at the cba!
 
1 billion dollars would be more on the money!

and it should NOT go to the thieving government either... the fine should be redistributed between mortgage holders on a pro-rata basis!

Would love a 1bil fine but what is wrong with it going to gov? That's our $ that can be pumped into transport, health, tax relief etc.

Our gov is not known for efficient spending.

Besides, the money was stolen from the poor folk who were with BankWest and should be given back to them.

The rest us of really don't deserve jack shit for their suffering.

You have way more faith in government than i do!

Government is by its very nature wasteful! so around half of all money which is channelled via government is wasted.
Do you reckon that a 50% "management fee" is a good deal - perhaps because government management of projects is so efficient and adds value??

LOL!!! of course not... The private sector would do an order of magnitude better at managing anything the government attempts..

and then we have the question of legitimacy... I just dont recognise the right of government to tax, fine etc..
I believe that this is theft plain and simple... legislated theft!

This does not mean i dont believe in any fines... sure - some fines (eg the one referred to above) can and should be imposed by a proper court - and the proceeds should go to the VICTIMS... and NOT to government!

50% of all profit for that year, plus personal fines and prison time for all senior managers. It wont happen but without senior management being held accountable (read: going to jail) there is no chance of change ever happening.
