@aleks -it is a scrypt based coin. It can be mined with GPU and CPU. No specially hardware needed to mine like bitcoins.

First exchange ( https://coinedup.com ) has added following pairs fot CAT

CAT / BTC
CAT /DOGE

So you can buy CATs for DOGE

Do not have any experiance with this exchange. I think cryptsy will add CAT soon


Its getting harder to mine CATS - Difficulty is @64 so at the moment i can mine less than 1.0 CAT/h @ 2100kh/s

Still have some for stackers here

Trew, if you download yourself an Electrum Bitcoin wallet. I will send you some BTC.
From there, I'd suggest you put it into BTC-e.com and play around with it for kicks.
