I'd guess the latter..

Probably the first one, it's all in the lighting and photography techniques. The Cougar itself is probably closer to a reverse proof like section typical of RCM bullion coins.

If you look at the first post, that appears to be a picture of an actual coin and not CGI.

Just seen the coin in the flesh and i have to say its a nice looking coin the face of the puma is real sharp and nice unlike the foto

Yeap. The amount of rim dings is worrisome. Well it is supposed to be a low-premium bullion coin. Won't be surprised some dealers will try to slab these and sell the MS69/MS70's.
