I've registered a account but every time I try to checkout my address is somehow back to USA

Do they ship to Australia

Has anyone bought from there before

They only ship to Australia if you spend more than US $1500 and wire transfer the money. But because it is over $1k AUD, FedEx charge a large fee to get it cleared through customs apparently.

I thought it was to good to be true

My purchase was for over 2k us

It just says free shipping and my address is the same except for the country keeps coming up as USA

If orders are placed online with Vpost or freight forwarding addresses, all risk of loss for such orders is borne by you once APMEX delivers your product to the freight forwarding service or Vpost. I don't know much more. Others here have actually purchased more than $1k but I haven't. I recall there was a thread detailing the issues and costs.
 
I've dealt with there customer service and they always were friendly and knowledgeable if you are able to contact them that way. I'd be careful with wire transfers because it's the equivalent of sending cash in the mail. It's a bummer all the hoops you have to jump through when you are doing international orders.

Interesting read seems it's a bit of a lucky dip regarding import tax

And wire transferring the money seems to be s nightmare

I hope you get it worked out. I'm in the US and love apmex. They usually ship the same day and i'll receive my items a day or two later. Awesome company!
