Buy silver now? Or wait a bit longer?

So what's the buzz about silver prices dropping? Do people really believe that the US can fix this?

Either way, are you guys buying now, or waiting a it longer? If so, how low do you think it will go.

Thanks,
J.

When an opportunity like this comes, I always buy some even if it is just a few oz.

That way you won't kick yourself later if spot prices go back up.

Yeah, i'm definatelly going to buy soon. Going to a get a 10oz provident metals bar, and 5 1oz silver Mercury Dimes.

Thanks for the advice :)

Now is a golden time to be buying silver.

as spot has dropped the dealers have increased their premiums

Gold stackers low premium 1oz vs their unallocated 1oz price difference is widening the more spot drops.

Who buys off ebay? All the stuff I see is more than what I can get it for from my preferred online dealers... At least the stuff I buy.

I've looked into ebay and don't think it's worth it. I hear of a lot of fakes moving through.

Go through a reputable trusted dealer. I use goldstackers.

Also people on here are willing to let silver go for cheap, keep an eye on the buy sell and swap.

Yea I'm from the U.S. I like jmbullion for most stuff. Golden eagle coins seems to have the cheapest pm lunar a which I like a lot!

I'm buying, although I spent a fair whack of my money at around $19.60 Australian ($17.20US).. my advice would be to take advantage of the cheap price but don't spend all your money at once. Wait a few days to a week and if things still look good or maybe even look better buy some more. At the moment all prices are cheap and unless there is a big change buying a little every week will allow you to get an average of the price over a few months so you don't miss out if there is a big drop. If you have to pay for postage every time though you should thinking about making a few larger orders and making better use of this price, you have to be buying a lot of silver not to have additional $20 shipping fees hit your per ounce average price pretty hard.

You should really look around for a local dealer you like, even if they are a little more expensive than online stores you should add the cost of shipping and then you'll often find they are competitive. If you don't have a specialised bullion dealer try a few local pawn stores. Even if you do your big buys online to defray shipping it can't hurt to find someone local if you want to pick up a few odds and ends and also find someone who can give you a good price to sell your silver at short notice if there is a price spike.

Ebay can be ok but you really have to dig abd spend a lot of time to find a good deal, but surprising given the 10% charge on top of what the seller actually wants and by the time you pay for shipping these things add up. It is good if you want to find something rare or something you want straight away to complete a set out the like as there is extensive range but that's only helpful if you don't mind paying a little extra.

yeah, always get a penny or two.
dimes for kisses

or you may end up penny lesser  all fiat has been spent for the week. will be L@@King around next Month Nov 2014 :)

Alternatively you buy unallocated, then you don't have to worry about shipping or storage.
