Buy a contract on COMEX as 'Silver Stackers' and stand for delivery?

What about we start the first Australian Community Bullion Bank, everyone chips in some metal to buy some land and build a secure vault storage facility to store metal in.

Then we each get shares in the Vault which (A) Leases out the space (charged in dollars to pay for the running cost of the vault) and (B) Sells an online storage account, 1 gram lots charged as a percentage of holdings so owners can re-coop their metal again !

This would have to be a first, surely !

i might try something like this tho... on the channel... if silver gets hit hard.

will need someone we trust, perhaps I can get Mike Maloney to store for us... perhaps

I think it would be a fantastic thing to do....

I'd like to get Dan (and Mike of course) involved and make a video of our exploits.

A SilverStackers / StellaConcepts / GoldSilver collaboration. It will be very educational all round.

... maybe even profitable...

Ck.

I started this thread with the line 'Right, heres something to get the juices going:)' and that it has...

@bron suchecki and Loxmyf - perhaps your right but there seemed to be a lot of attention and interest from Hedge Funds and similar speculators to drive the price to $48 ish...why else did they invest such large amounts of money without the hope of larger fiat pay offs?

@Maggie...thanks for the commitment...@GJG - FIRST POST for 100Oz :) NICE! and welcome aboard!

@ Tozak - Yes its a serious risk and could be a long haul...

@ Turk - stop feeding that dog Hedge Fund Managers...I don't think it's agreeing with his stomach?

@Hotel 46 - perhaps - would you like to get a group of forum members to buy 1000oz bar? I reckon it would be pretty easy...a fellow worker just purchased a few hundred ounces of Ag as a group buy with other workers - many who's purchase would be there first stacked PM's - would be a shoe in for educated members to buy 1000oz? Hey throw the idea out there and see the interest?

@Smoothcriminal - might fizzle out but my own creative juices are swimming in plenty of new investment possibilities...namely over...

Tozaks first Australian Community Bullion Bank - the ACBB - has a nice ring to it don't you think? :) Really this will be the way of the future - many will get slaughtered in time to come then only want to invest and deposit in a backed currency and backed Banking...Tozak - would happy to invest as a director and be one of the first depositor's.

@stella - want to do a vid on the first Bullion Bank in Oz? and CK - got Dan and Mikes email address to invite them...

ACBB - You're better off finding an old bank site with a vault already built in it and lease it. You'll need a couple million at least to build a new smallish vault.

CK - cheers - I'll keep this in the memory banks until ready to 'unleash'...no point wasting this until ready to kick goals :)

@bron suchecki - valid point - might put some offers in on some 'shaky' Bank locations in my Neighborhood :) meaning there pretty quiet lately for business...not much housing loans getting approved....

...as I remember James Turk got a spray over GoldMoney when he 'invented' the idea...doesn't seem so alien today? I reckon this is something worth backing...

Funny, I was thinking of doing almost the exact same thing.

You can put me down for 300 ounces or 3x shares, if we did over-subscribe you can always buy a second contract. Who knows these may just get settled in cash and there may be a wave of people wanting to buy into this idea !

nice to see you here tozak

what happened to your youtube - it's gone!

you had some great posts there

welcome :)

SWEET! Even has an area to display the logo across the front 2nd story...looks pretty stock if it's true cavoty brick construction...

hmmm...is this Snowtown in SA Adelaide area? ie Bodies in Barrels murders?

Oh well whats the lease rate?

LOCATION....LOCATION....LOCATION....for a price:)

hey millededge another Tozak follower! Thought I was the only one....

For those who don't know Tozak posted some excellent UT Vids on Silver which had a serious following until...hmmm well BS....

Yeah, I was complaining to Youtube's Legal department about not wanting to be forced to open a google account just to post video's, got pretty heated so all-in-all I don't post video's on Youtube anymore since I requested that Youtube pull my account because we could not come to an agreement. I still watch at lot of video's on there, I was going to look for some alternatives to post video's in but got very busy looking into Silver shares instead and investing a little into Copper, Nickel and Tin.

last I looked, metalmoney.net was down too - if you have an update, feel welcome to post it in the "links section" of general precious metals discussion - I've linked your old site there.

Yeah, I have renewed the domain name and kept the site together but I'm changing my hosting plan so I'm just waiting for my new web-space to be available then I'll upload it again all updated.

Not sure if this has been done before but going to put it out there...

WHO WANTS TO JOIN IN AND BUY A COMEX CONTRACT AND STAND FOR DELIVERY?

As stackers we've all take a 'hit' lately...so I'm thinking if if I can get physical (don't care the shape ,size, etc) at the approx current $32 AUS spot I would be pretty happy :) or accept a heafty fiat compensation...

Sold some Tigers this week for massive percentage premiums over spot yet was still told they were 'cheap'...what percentage over spot is still considered cheap?

So who want's in? There's 5000 oz up for grab :) Stake your claim :)

I'll take the first 500oz...

I suggested this recently say about 2 months ago  and some of us went down the path trying to find out more ;) In the end, it's in the too hard basket trying to organise everyone together :/ Althought it being a great idea. To many people with to many varied ideas regarding how it would/should be conducted but the major issue is trust  If you have ever gone into business with a good friend or business partner and you haven't properly documented a terms and conditions agreement you'll run into major headaches later. I know with two failed business ventures in this fashion. It all starts out with great intentions but eventually you'll have the bum head who will up set the apple card and your hard earn money will be lost - sorry for being a downer on the topic

Hi Ag, & Captain Kookaburra

how's this going? haven't been watching for a while - any delivery yet? :|

Going to go out on a limb here and say this looks like it will fizzle out as per the previous one and as per the mining tenement - or maybe I'm just pessimistic today because of the rain and crocodiles in the sewers

I know, it's hard enough managing an U10 football team so getting this to the finishing line was always going to be shovelling shit up hill but I suppose it's not over till the fat lady sings

Yep don't understand? ask all you guys to send me your money without question and no one did? :)

Yes it was 'Pie in the Sky' but it could be done - it wasn't about getting the physical,it was about standing up for what we're all carrying on about...

It is too risky - not to mention increased margins would force the 'early sale' before delivery...

Did I fail? No - the tread stared with 'Right, heres something to get the juices going:)'

...didn't it? there was a lot of knowledge and crackpot ideas which came out...I see it as 'Silver COMEX brainstorming' and it was very successful...not every idea goes from feasibility to production...
