Hey guys,
Apologies if this has been covered somewhere but I couldnt find an answer by searching or checking out recent posts. I also wanted to inform any stackers who are after these coins that the fellas at bullionbourse are currently pre-selling half oz dragons at minimal premiums. (or they were 10 days ago or so anyway).
Anyone know the status of the bullion dragon coins thru the perth mint? Specifically half oz, 2 oz and 5 oz coins.
I was under the impression that PM had suspended production of these coins to keep up with kook, koala etc production(or whatever bs) and had issued a statement saying they would be producing bullion dragons again during late 2011, early 2012 with the half oz dragons as a priority.
Just yesterday however I got a text from a friend stating he got four, 2 oz dragons at the PM for @ $82 each yet the PM bullion website still has half, 2 and 5 oz coins as unavailable. I know the PM has various depts. and obviously the coins my friend got were likely available only to walk-in customers. That said im still curious about where they came from...either the PM has begun production of bullion dragons again and is making them available only to walk-ins or perhaps these coins were sold back to the mint by someone.
Any ideas?
