Britannia returns to circulating coins!

It really is a gorgeous little coin when you take it out of the capsule (wearing gloves of course). Weighty for its size.

You can test yourself. Just add a high amount into the basket then there will be a warning how many coins are still left in the "online" shop.
For the piedfort about the half of the maximum mintage is sold.
For the normal version only about 616 pieces are still available.

The website only allows me to input a maximal number of 99 , so that option does not work for me.

It seems that from an European address there is no limit to add higher number.

@Luker: thanks for the pictures. Britannia looks great. :)

You need to manually enter high amount, not using arrows for up (limited to 99). ;)

Sorry, there is only 1,055 of this product left in stock

Since last weekend the definitive Britannia proof silver is sold out. That was quick, less than one month after issue date.
It seems to be true, that only 3,000 were available in a single presentation version and the rest of the coins are in premium sets.

Piedfort version is still available (about 350 left today).

Yeah and stock of Piedfort is falling down quickly in last few days. I was quietly hoping it will last until the end of this month but I'm not sure.

I hate PM. I will start collecting something cheaper! ;)

Today is the end of this month. Still enough left. ;)

I love the design of proof Britannia 2014. Unfortunately I bought only 2 six-coin sets. Should have bought more.

Haha. Bah I wanted to say until the end of this month-April.:)

Too optimistic, I know.:)

Pretty boring looking coin to me, unless it is better on the other side? Oh well to each their own I guess.

oh don't say that. Have more respect for two old ladies.
Or do you like Britannia and King Charles' portraits? :P

I like the full body Britannia's, these just don't do it for me, but some say I have strange taste in coins anyways, Maybe if she had the helmet down instead of up ,I might be more taken by these.:P Would be cooler having her hair flowing with the helmet down, I think. But then it might look like a guy lol. make her breast bigger I guess....

yeah, toooooo optimistic. Just one week after your post. It seems that piedfort version is sold out too.

Hahahah.:D Yeah, in last few weeks (days) the number of available pieces was falling down fast. :D

Hi guys,

I was asked in another thread if I can offer a Silverstackers discount on our new coin... whilst i can't do that, I figured I CAN offer a deal in this thread!

We received 5 of the Royal Mint's 2 silver proof Britannia coin last week. Unfortunately, we didn't order them from our supplier! Worse, a couple of them have damaged outer boxes. To send them back would be too much of an expense.

So... I've uploaded them to our site at $99. That's well under what most are selling them at and... its (excuse the cliche) just above our cost.

Here's a link:

Mods... please excuse my blatant shilling...

I can confirm these are nice coins! I got a couple of the thicker piedfort ones and it is a constant temptation not to take them out of the capsule and fondle them.
