Don't worry, I'm not getting the 77 s graded
I have however bought an 1857 s which I think is worth grading even if it only comes out as f/vf. I more there are many grading options including a few local ones and that not all grading services are created equal.
Frankly I'd rather have a trusted and respectable company slab my coin even if it means getting a lower grade than some that go a bit easy but are there any that deal more often or specialise in sovs (particularly Australian ones) than others?
I know locally to me monetarium deal with lots of sovs and deal mostly with pcgs, is there any reason not to go with them?
Also, if a local coin shop is a pcgs dealer does that mean they offer a drop off/pick up grading service? Monetarium are listed on the pcgs website and that seems to be the way it works. How much roughly am I up for with shipping if I go through them?
Thanks in advance guys.
