Best Day To Buy Silver?

Hi All

Does anyone know if and when is the best time (day of the week / month) to buy silver?

As a stacker, I go with the principle of buying consistantly - at the moment I have the first Friday of every month marked in my calendar as SILVER DAY!!!

Would I better off changing this to a Monday for example?

I have tried to follow to follow the prices over the last couple of years and it SEEMS that Friday usually comes in cheaper - Is this right or am I just dreaming...?

I would welcome any advice :)

Theres no such thing as cheaper day. Its not petrol, its all based on spot price. Make an educated guess whether its good to buy and just buy on whatever day.

Buy silver on every day of the week and than check prices you
paid with the SPOT on that day. The day where you paid
least margin is the day you should buy silver.

Price fluctuates throughout the day. Have the money ready in your account, keep track of your desired product on your dealer(s) of choice. When the price looks right, pull the trigger.

On one dealer, I saw a box of 100 kookas fluctuate by up to $100 several times within a day.

That's already pretty detailed advice, isn't it?
can you elaborate a little?

Any reason why that day would be worse than any other day? :D

Any day you have 'spare' money in your pocket is the best day to buy silver... you can't win on price fluctuations...you can only win by getting that filthy fiat out of your wallet and into something stable!

I tried to but bank was closed so counldnt take out cash.

Now look at it. It shot up close to a $1 overnight.

I can't buy anywhere, as the dealers are closed over christmas.

Any one know where in Sydney can buy 1kg bars for decent price? (friends want to buy a few).

Yeah that's one of the downfalls of waiting for prices to go lower before you're able to jump in. Don't you hate it when that happens. Bloody "Murphy" has a lot to answer for. :)

Sometimes you have no choice as you have to wait until funds clear or until you've saved up enough to make a purchase, but either way the market has a habit of catching you unawares and before you know it, it's up a couple of bucks and you're left holding the bag and lamenting lost opportunities. Doh! :D

However, in the end it doesn't really matter coz a few bucks here or there won't make any difference when price is over $50/oz :D
