Eurocollecttions ,most likely commisioned by Downies & I would assume to be a PM product .xrayspecs said:Noticed this on eurocollections this morning

Looks like a commission piece, probably minted somewhere private in Europe
Doubt it. If that were the case it'd be up on both of the other sites.spannermonkey said:Eurocollecttions ,most likely commisioned by Downies & I would assume to be a PM product .xrayspecs said:Noticed this on eurocollections this morning

Gotta remember that Downies and Perth Mint are essentially competitors, so I highly doubt that Perth would hold back on putting a coin online so that one of their main competitors can sell it before they get a chance.spannermonkey said:Jcoin said:Doubt it. That's how they control how many are sold & what price they go for
They wouldn't want to make them easily available would they
The Redback Spider was sold that way & it got people sucked in to buying that crap ,
Each they're own![]()

Yes, as well as every other D&D release after it.spannermonkey said:Jcoin said:Gotta remember that Downies and Perth Mint are essentially competitors, so I highly doubt that Perth would hold back on putting a coin online so that one of their main competitors can sell it before they get a chance.spannermonkey said:That's how they control how many are sold & what price they go for

Competitors
Downies would be the PM's best & longest customer
If Downies commissioned a coin they wouldn't want to have the PM sell if on they're behalf
Was the Redback ever sold by the PM when it was released ?

Alex.
