I pulled up a tree stump once and a bunch of whatever was in the roots flew onto my leg (I was wearing jeans). I looked down and saw 4 large black funnelwebs on my thigh. I was wearing gloves and quickly brushed them off. Changed undies.

Check out the benefits of predatory wasp's. There's a whole lot more than meets the eye. Figs for example even.
Wasp's ain't all bad.
 
got stung on the back mowing the lawn by a wasp this last summer, thought I am not welding or oxy cutting that's what it felt like a burner that didn't go away as fast , yes it stang and the heat was there for a good 15 mins then the itch lasted weeks, little bastard they don't like lawn mowers for anyone interested.
 
Spotted this fella crossing the road while I was parked up for lunch and winding up Hussman in that other thread :lol:

i was at carinda and a king brown came at me too, start of spring so it woke up very angry. i tried to get out of its way and it wanted to dance and give me a big kiss. Fortunately i was thrown a spade and i got him before her got me.
