National Take Out Your Pay Day.
To remind "the man" that cash is king (next to gold and silver of course) and we don't want to loose yet another freeform.

I doubt there'll be enough cash in the city's ATM's, it would be funny to see.

It will be interesting to see if they try it in China. I'll bet that it gets shut down. They'll pull the plug on the ATM's

I live in a small town 40 percent of transactions at my local coffee shop are done by phone or fit bit. The remainder by tap and go, card with pin or cash.
Cash is less than 5 percent. No government intervention.

Sheeple love this way of being its "free and easy"

my experience in the Scandi country's the last few years tells me same.

The people I meet explain cashless in an imaginary utopian way, there are less robbers, I don't need a wallet and it cuts out "black money" so the government is better able to care for those less fortunate.

My local hardware shop in Stockholm WILL NOT TAKE CASH that's fine for a Scandi it's normal. but I don't want to use my Aus credit card and pay a 7$ conversion fee on a 4$ item when I've got a fist full of kroner that is already paid for and verified as "white money" at the airport exchange.

What you want to park your car? Yep that's fine ...... oh sorry you only have cash? No can do you need to swish.

All public toilets are pay per use ... that's cool..... typical of Europe..... cool

HOWEVER in some towns to spend a penny or drop the kids off no coins accepted NO CASH NO EXCEPTION you need a card or swish otherwise .....

you get to sht yourself where you stand.

Think about it, really properly think about it.



Here is the light side

Every one seems happy to donate to beggars in the street but some how don't realise he/she has no where to shit any more.

everyone is grateful because "black money" (that's the twenty bucks you get from mowing your neighbours lawn or the money you made from your last garage sale) is taxed and everyone is so much better off.

No one cares Erricson pays no tax and who the hell is Ingra Kampvad anyway?

I put cash in the bank when I need to order something but I dont use plastic.
Years ago we were standing in line at Walmart with $500 worth of groceries and my card was declined. The magnetic strip wouldnt work or something.
Another time of that happening was enough for me and I stopped depending on them. Only cash for me after that.
Cash always works for me.

100% real I removed some dribble in the middle but that has not been altered. My member dident even bother to say if or not he was voting but he will do as the libs say.

In regard to the Currency (Restrictions on the Use of Cash) Bill 2019, in the 2018-19 Budget, the Government announced it would introduce an economy-wide cash payment limit of $10,000 for payments made or accepted by businesses for goods and services. Transactions equal to, or in excess of this amount would need to be made using the electronic payment system or by cheque. The Black Economy Taskforce recommended this action to tackle tax evasion and other criminal activities.

This was after I said KPMG (the ones who wrote the Taskforce recommendation was the biggest money launderer with the banks so they just dont care.

The cash money someone makes for doing the job is what is not taxed immediately. If that person does several jobs for cash and doesn't declare it in his/her tax return then they are committing the crime of tax avoidance. By forcing electronic payments on the population the government can track all payments and know when someone has recieved monies. Paying someone by cash means it can't be tracked. Many a time I've been quoted 2 prices for a job, pay less for cash or more with a card, the later can be tracked electronically.
 
I recon it would be totally achievable, I think word would spread even to those who don't have SM.

Well they dont like it instead of 30% tax they only get 10% gst (Goods And Service tax) but the crown casino, the Banks and 4 big accountant like KPMG launders more money than than the rest of Australia. So yes its in preparation for -% to be bought in this started back in 2016 as our government bought in the swift system its a instant way to transfer money between banks. Its very rare to see a $100 note as they are Not making them anymore. Next year the auto tellers will go to $20 should (when ) the law is bought into action.
 
That's very disappointing sctcp, spose it its to be expected considering cashless agenda is driven not by local politics but IMF. Seems like Australian government has already rolled over.

Not quite, $10,000 cash transactions are still allowed and that is quite a large some. But yes, otherwise it seems as though they have rolled over.
 
Yep 10k is a fair bit of booty but I see it as the thin edge of a wedge

Same as ATMs only dispensing $20 notes effectively you now have between 2.5 and 5 times the number of notes in your wallet. That makes cash cumbersome esp. if u withdraw your daily limit. Puts people off cash so they move to cashless by 'free choice'

You're confusing tax avoidance with tax evasion.

Tax avoidance is the legal use of tax laws to reduce taxes. Tax evasion is the illegal evasion of taxes. There's a big difference.
