It has been a while since I have lurked at the Silver Stackers Forum (SSF?), and I just wanted to say hi to everyone, both old friends and new. Times are good again, and there's a lot to talk about in the rare modern Chinese coins (MCC) market. Patience has paid off, and I'm glad to see all the great people I knew from the past are still around. Cheers!

I can see I'm not welcome on this forum. Although I'm mystified as to why you would be so hostile to someone on their first post, I will not come here anymore if I am unwelcome.

Helloooooooo Badon, great to see you here my friend. You are more than welcome here. Don't worry about the naysayer, and negative people out there!! As you can see, for every 1, there are 100 that have open arms to embrace your wisdom and knowledge!! Stand strong.

Thanks for the welcome! It appears there was a misunderstanding about my initial post, but that seems to be mostly resolved. This forum has a lot of great information coming from a lot of experienced collectors and dealers. I'm glad to see dealers are welcomed here, because they have more information to share than anyone, since they're basically advanced collectors that buy more coins than they can afford to keep. Hmm. That phrase is quotable, I think I'll put it in my blog signature. But I digress!

Cheers and salutes all around. I have waited far too long to participate as a member of this forum, so it feels like we should have a baptism or something, haha. I have seen the light! It's coming from glittery shiny stuff!
 
badon, you will find only a few detractors of MCC/medals in this forum. I think most members can appreciate the high quality and collector value of many of the Chinese medals and coins (and I suppose I should now include precious metals notes) discussed in these threads.
