I bet no one reads the 6000 pages of the TPP and yet here are the MP's out selling the free trade agreement even though they havn't read it and never will.

The ISDS clause is probably in there just as the Canadians FOUND OUT after signing the NAFTA.

Fracking under the St Lawrence River is permitted even though Quebec had passed laws to say it was prohibited...Who won?

Politicians love to point out the financial benefits for our farmers in dollar terms but not what happens if the frackers come to their farms.

fracking shale is a completely different process to fracking coal seams, do some reading on it.

I heard someone once say that we could repeal all our laws and replace them with just two simple laws that could be understood by both classes of our society

Rule #1: No person shall intentionally or unintentionally through their actions or inactions cause harm or perceived harm to any other person unless such action would be regarded by the greater community in the interests of the greater good of that community and is done so with humility and respect to all

Rule #2: Don't be a dick

I didn't say what type of fracking..^^^^The point is that the Canadians had laws passed forbidding any type of fracking under the St Lawrence River yet a US corporation tooK them to the ISDS, NEVER DID ANY FRACKING and collected millions of dollars in damages.

And so they should have been able to. The Canadian government were trying to steal Lone Pines' property and sunk investment without compensation.
