Hi All,
Just getting audited by my SMSF, can anyone tell me if or where I can get a price for the items below as of 30/06/13

20 * 1oz Silver Coin - 2013 Perth Mint Koala as at 30/06/20
100 Gram Silver Bar - Scottsdale Silver Cast Bar 30/06/20

I sent an excel sheet but evidently that was not good enough

I have everything listed as silver 999 or gold 999 and just use the spot price as that is all a dealer will give you at most.
 
I have used ainslie price sheet in the past ( end of financial year Price sheet PDF) Seemed to satisify my accountant in the past.

I also have a new auditor for my SMSF this year so I dont know if he will be satisfied with this document.

Unfortunately I dont have last years end of financial pdf. ( Was away and didnt download a copy)

I would be interested in a copy if anyone has one.

wd love more info if you're comfortable about giving a sketch.

Price was roughly then as it is now I think. But why not have the auditor check twelve month price chart with you.

Then look up current retail prices for those items and you should be within a few precent.

But I'm sure others will chime in. So wait until they do.
 
Audits probably the wrong word super sent the following:

1. We note that there is a discrepancy between the asset holding provided by you and our General Ledger:

Asset name Holdings provide by client(gram) Our General Ledger(gram)

100 Gram Silver Bar - Scottsdale Silver Cast Bar 60 (i.e. 6 unit*10gram) 600 (i.e. 6 unit*100gram)



Please confirm the holding and provide the associated documentation evidencing the holding and market value as at 30/06/2013 if applicable.
2. Documentation evidencing the market value and holding for 20 * 1oz Silver Coin - 2013 Perth Mint Koala as at 30/06/2013

Please note that the holdings Statement provided to us did not specify the information mentioned above.
