I have up for auction we have 2x1oz Pert Mint Series 2 2010 Lunar Tigers in NGC MS69 Slabs to be sold as 1 lot
My photographic skills leave a lot to be desired, but coins have several condition issues which make the MS69 grading redundant.
There are scratches and markings on the slabs but the major things to be aware of are:
Coin ID #3403481-007 has a tarnish/mark taking up most of the space between the final A in “Australia” and the “R” at the end of “Dollar”. It is roughly the same height as the lettering as well. There is also a small spot roughly 1mm in diameter 2mm from the Queens nose. Tiger side of coin seems to be ok except the NGC tag has started to bow and is not lying flat in the slab
Coin ID #3403481-020 has started to tarnish/mark around the middle “A” in Australia. It is roughly the same size as the letter but is positioned at the bottom of the letter. There is also some tarnishing forming next to the “2010” lettering. A small spot has also started to for on the front to the left of the Tigers front legs under the Chinese symbol. Additionally the coin has moved so that it is no longer sitting evenly in the cradle, the top of the coin from the front has come forward and the bottom has moved back so it is now sitting at an angle.
I have tried to capture these faults without clogging up the thread with photos but if you want more shots, please ask and I can email with greater detail (without re-sizing) and update the thread if requested.
Bidding to start at reserve of $40 (NB bid prices are inclusive of registered post)
