Hi all, welcome to an auction of one of my favourite gold nuggets found in the Golden Triangle of Victoria, Australia.

Weighing 4.1 grams it has no inclusions or additives whatsoever and should test at around 98% purity! It measures roughly 15x10x10mm.

Ideal for collection, investment, or would also be perfect for making into a jewellery pendant and gifting to someone special in your life

Auction closes 9pm AEST Sunday Sept 11th. 5 minute add ons like adze67 does at the end of his auctions and which most here seem comfortable with. I will do my best without timestamps to determine the eventual winner.

It has been cleaned to remove all dirt and ironstone that was attached. This has exposed beautiful parts of the nugget that previously couldnt be seen. There are a couple of holes that go right through the nugget but it is overall very solid and will not break under any normal circumstances. Hitting it with a sledgehammer would not be considered normal circumstances.

The nugget weighed 4.27 grams when found and after cleaning now weighs 4.10 grams. It's purity will be 98-99% with a fart of silver.

Open and honest is a good way of being descriptive. Note my multitude of pics including those showing size and weight.

People can bid with confidence about what they are seeing and reading here, no guesswork about the existence or weight of quartz of ironstone and I have tested dozens of nuggets via XRF from the areas I've detected in the Golden Triangle that have registered 98 and over 99% purity. Around here is renowned for the some of the highest purity natural gold in the world.
