Up for auction this week we have an unusual 6g gold Credit Suisse Asian themed pendant.
Was a well-worn piece and there are some “love marks” all over ie: scratches, finger prints, cleaning marks etc. Not the greatest mount but that makes for easy removal. Google search doesn’t throw up many similar pieces but stamped with the number 369651, there must be a few!
Figure is of Guan Yin who in Chinese Buddhism, “is synonymous with the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the pinnacle of mercy, compassion, kindness and love.”
Chinese characters roughly translate to:
LHS – Good Luck RHS – Guan Yin will protect and will always be with you
