I think it was David Emslie. He's the guy that did the bar pour on the original season of Gold Rush Alaska. Got to hold one of the Gold Rush bars but he said there was a ridiculously high royalty on the logo.
David refined the silver for the cobs from recovered low-grade shipwreck cobs that were of no numismatic value along with some silver from Mel Fisher, and added it to the silver used for making the blanks for these coins. Each cob contains some silver from the wreck.
