Especially given that they write them based on economies, they've probably got some idea without adding astrological nonsense to it.
When are people going to get over the idea that the other planets have anything to do with us? This is so primitive and ridiculous. I've seen so many explanations of how it COULD have an effect but clearly by people who can't do math.

Fed will make an important announcement at their meeting this week, scheduled for Wednesday, September 21. That is the last day of Mercury retrograde, the last day of the Sun in Virgo, and a day that highlights the moon in Gemini, a volatile placement for financial markets, especially interest-rate related markets. Jupiter, in early Libra, makes a T-square to the FRB Sun/Pluto opposition in Capricorn-Cancer. Usually, under such Jupiter transits, the Fed's position is more accommodative. If so, stocks and precious metals markets will love it.
Also keep in mind that Venus in Libra often corresponds to a major low in Silver, as discussed in our Forecast 2016 Book. Mars in Capricorn is often more bullish for Gold than it was in Sagittarius. Everyone is down on metals, based on the idea that the Fed will announce a hike in its short-term rates. But in the cosmos, the story is a little different. week will find the Sun in Libra conjunct Jupiter, which also recently moved into Libra. The conjoining of these two benefics will take place on Monday, the same day that Pluto ends it retrograde motion. The next day, September 27, Mars will begin its six-week journey through Capricorn, a cardinal sign. With this ingress of Mars into a cardinal sign, conjunct the Federal Reserve Board's Sun/Pluto opposition and one day after Pluto turns direct, the emphasis will be upon USA debt and taxes. This is interesting because it will coincide with the first debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Thus we know what the two of the biggest themes will be. With Pluto involved, it will also focus upon race relations. Expect some exaggerations of facts (Sun/Jupiter), attempts to be nice to one another (Sun/Jupiter in Libra), but below-the-belt insinuations too. Pluto rules the underground, and hence can be underhanded.
As far as markets are concerned, there can be reversals of minor cycles. In addition to the geocosmic signatures just mentioned, we also need to keep alert of the new moon in Libra that occurs next Saturday, October 1. This will be an especially important new moon. If markets rise into that period, they could reverse sharply into the full moon that follows two weeks later.

The Sun will make a T-square with Pluto and Uranus, October 7 and 15 respectively. As well, we see Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus in aspect to one other close in time, it often coincides with large price swings. October is known for such large price movements anyway, but it may be stronger than usual this October. Once the Sun is done making its translation to Uranus and Pluto, Mars will follow with a conjunction to Pluto and square to Uranus, October 19-28. It may get very wild. If markets turn down, they could do so heavily. But there is an election coming up, and with exception of 2008, severe sell-offs in stocks don't usually happen at this time. It can be down, but not usually in a panic. It is interesting that last week's selloff in stocks was related to a financial threat to Deutsche Bank (heavy fines), which some analysts were comparing to the Lehman Brothers fallout that started the panic in September-October 2008. The aspects of 2016 are not nearly as intense as they were in the fall of 2008. Still, there are cosmic signs ahead that will require patience and forethought in order to navigate successfully.

strength in the U.S. Dollar had a chilling effect on Gold and Silver, which fell sharply on Tuesday and continued lower the rest of the week. The prior week, Gold was testing 1350. On Friday, it was testing 1240. The carnage was similar with Silver, which started the week trading as high as 19.38. By Friday, it was testing 17.00, the low of the day, before closing near 17.50. These are the lowest levels for each since June.
The volatility in the currencies is not only related to the issues of Brexit. The greater concern is that the Federal Reserve Board has backed itself into a corner. The only way out seems to be that it must raise its short-term interest rates. It got a little relief when Friday's payroll reports showed a less than expected gain in the jobs market. The shortfall was not enough to damage the claim that new US jobs still continue to show gains. That's good news for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. However, the continued strength of the US Dollar going into this election resurrects the 16-year cycle correlation that favors a Republican presidential victory. That is, every 16 years the U.S. Dollar makes a high within 9 months of the presidential election when a Republican wins. This is that 16th year (as was 2000 with Bush Jr, 1984 with Reagan, 1968 with Nixon, and 1952 with Eisenhower). Every 16 years, the US Dollar makes a low too, and a Democrat wins. That was the case for Obama in 2008, and before that, Bill Clinton in 1992, Carter in 1976, Kennedy in 1960, and Roosevelt in 1944.

Two weeks ago, 12 notable international and national astrologers at the ISAR 2016 convention unanimously forecasted that Hillary Clinton would be the likely victor in the 2016 USA presidential election. I also arrived at the same conclusion back in early August. Of course, many polls have recently shown the same probability. But those polls are tightening now amidst all the new WikiLeaks releases pointing to possible irregularities (and maybe even illegal behavior) on how the Clintons intertwined their non-profit foundation with political activities, which is not permissible under law, and then possibly covered this up and obstructed investigations by both Congress and the FBI. Could the polls and astrologers be wrong? If so, this will be the most stunning upset since the Truman-Dewey election of 1948. However, it is possible.

November 24, the first of three passages of the Jupiter/Pluto waning square will take place. This will bring back themes that were present when these two planets were in conjunction in December 2007, which was the first month of the official Great Recession. It pertains to the four D's: debt, deficits, default, and downgrades, plus taxes. These themes are apt to be present through all three passages, which will last until August 2017. Along the way, this square will be part of a cardinal T-square with Uranus, which will be at its strongest in March 2017 +/- 2 months. This type of cardinal T-square is often in effect when sudden financial crises, or stock market selloffs, occur.
There is also a Venus translation occurring next week. Venus will conjunct Pluto and square Jupiter on November 25. Four days later, Venus will square Uranus, forming yet another cardinal T-square. These are all powerful geocosmic reversal signatures, as is the Sun/Neptune waning square of November 30. Many financial markets are vulnerable to reversing their recent moves, as new and sudden information and events unfold that change the financial and possibly political outlook of the masses. However, it is a new primary cycle, so any reversal, although steep, may be short-lived.

look forward to the year 2017, I see a great deal of excitement because there is new leadership in the United States. With it comes a heightened awareness of the unknown, the unexpected, which is shown by the developing cardinal T-square between Jupiter, Pluto, and Uranus. In fact, that started this week with the first of three passages of the Jupiter/Pluto waning square, and will last into the summer, with a huge peak February 22-April 21. On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016, the first of three Saturn/Uranus trines will take place, followed by the first of three Jupiter/Uranus oppositions on December 26. That is a lot of Uranus the unexpected, the sudden, the disruptive, the new awareness and new ideas for a new future. And of course, it is a reflection of the new USA President, Donald Trump, who is born under a lunar eclipse in which the Sun is conjunct Uranus (there he is again) in the easily distracted and changeable sign of Gemini an extremely original but unpredictable and quite probably disruptive geocosmic force.

It appears that 2017 will be a year dominated by Trump. What happens to him affects the entire world, and vice-versa, for better or worse, and probably both, for nothing is ever "normal" or "average" about him or the year 2017. All attempts by the press and others to "normalize" him will fail. His Sun-Uranus conjunction, which is part of his natal lunar eclipse in Gemini/Sagittarius, is a signature of brilliant insights, but also erratic, unexpected, unpredictable, and even disruptive behaviors. Remember, Uranus doesn't like boundaries or rules. They exist only to be broken, again for better or worse, and oftentimes both. The same may be true with promises made on the campaign trail, which may begin to morph into newer ideas that will appear to contradict those promises. In his mind, he will not breaking promises, but rather coming up with a "better idea." It is all about "better ideas" for a Gemini, that and being allowed to be flexible when a "better idea" is hatched.
