APMEX vs KITCO

I've been poking around different sites and I noticed that KITCO seems to have lower premiums than APMEX but APMEX is the one everyone always seems to talk about. I was also led to believe that KITCO is also one of the "large reputable" sites like APMEX. Is there a particular reason why everyone buys from APMEX when the same products are cheaper on another large reputable site? For example 1 oz Krugerrands on Kitco are cheaper than the largest bulk discount on Apmex.

I'm not affiliated with kitco or any dealer. In fact, I'm pretty sure the lowest premiums are from my LCS so I'll keep buying there but I was just curious.
 
apmex has wide, no, I mean WIDE selection of coins and opportunity to get from 1 oz to 1000 oz.
Kitco limits to some amount as I remember
