Anyone giving away PMs for Xmas presents?

I figured that if I gave away 10% of all my stash of silver, to my family, at Xmas time :| there will be a lot of yapping and scratching around the Xmas tree  not to mention the start of more family feud, and who wouldn't be without them :rolleyes:It would take me 13 years to get to the last 25% of today's amount :/ Then, there will be the additional carpet-crawlers to think about... :( Well they will have to be content with fitghting over the copper pennies perhaps  Now, that's a thought, fighting over copper pennies... that's how they make copper wire, don't they ?
As for my gold, no way Jose, I'm taking that with me wherever I'm going next ! :| Perhaps it will be handy down there for a little bribe or worse as an illusion of grandeur among the flames & the farty stench of the unrecyclable organic remains of human rot :( Hell, I'd never get to that place in my wildest dreams... ;) That's for the others... hell is the others
Now the Pearly Gates sounds good, but I don't think I'm 'rich enough' to get there  and there is no much gambling going on there, what a bore, so I'll leave that joint for the Purists, those who don't know the joys of calculated risks (with :P uncalculated rewards) , full on lifes & fast moving objects of desire...
The Middle Ground was always my playground, thanks to an unfortunate birth timing & the lures of my lucky Star ;) I did what I could to better the odds, never to the point of 'no returns', or to add to them the rimes of grime, slime and other dimes of crime !
Purgatory will be fine, I wish to meet yours up there too, one day perhaps, but not too soon, and start a slick Forum there... the Silver Sinners Stackers :D

But, where was I ?
This is Xmas, for Christ's sake, and the 'festive Spirit' has taken its toll in my feeble mind...
I'm here to wish you all a very Happy Xmas and a Merry go Round of many returns.

cheers domdolittle

i gave my girlfriends mother a 1oz lunar rabbit along with other presents, she asked if she could melt it down to make jewelry LOL.

Father got a 1oz tiger in his sack of gifts and he appreciated it, he said in jest that gold woulda been better haha.

My nephews were admiring my sons silver coins and said they wished they were given silver for Christmas. They were handed around and admired by all. And questions about where to buy and how to sell etc.
that was what i was hoping for. I am also hoping that my boys will go out and buy their own pm's. less to rely on my own stack that way.

I don't have any mates

Edit to add

I got an older Sister, a brother-in-law and three nieces for Christmas.

hahahaha I had to tell him about precious metals.

He just bought a house for close to a million bucks.

My brain nearly exploded thinking what you can do if you invested that into precious metals.

The prices these people must have been paying............
At least most of that silver will still look shiny and not in the bin like most of the gifts bought for xmas 2010

The other day at a chriscringle present swap.

I got a silly useless toy. What are people thinking when they buy presents?

Woulda loved to get a silver coin instead.

The perfect gift that keeps going up in value.

So anyone giving away any PMs for xmas?

Christmas, Easter, Valentines-Day, Fathers-Day, Mothers-Day and...crap such as a Diamond engagement ring are all BS driven by advertising gurus.

How many of you think you have to give a gift?

Have the balls to say...aint doing it and...buy a gift for your loved-one when you think it's appropriate. :)

Love your misses and your family but if you are in a trap where you think you must provide presents and cards to conform then I reckon you have lost the plot. :)

Edit

Giving away pm sucks!

No one will remember or understand your sprook and your good deed is like giving 2 cubic metres of fairy-floss to a 90 year-old at the nursing home.

Bit of a bump, there.

Lots of names that I don't recognize.

Anyway, I mix it up for Christmas.. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Though I only keep it to certain members within the extended family.

Birthday coins for the little ones til they hit 18? Always.

Even have a deal that, should they choose to sell at that magical age, I'm a buyer of first-refusal..

But also with the understanding that they're better off holding onto it all until they're old & gray -- then pass it on to whomever they wish.

Stick to Gold Bon Bons I say. :D
