Anyone bored of it? As in, the price isn't shooting straight up so it's boring?

I bought all these oz of silver and now they're just sitting on my table. I kind of wanna sell them and buy things that I dont need i.e car, clothes.

How do you stop yourself from impulse buying

Oh watching prices is definitely ultra-boring. The excitement comes with big moves upward (or downward if you believe in silver and want to buy)

The silver itself is also ultra boring. One reason why I don't keep it close to me :)
So while I wait for silver to shine (ahem), I'm trying to learn about real estate :)

It is boring.

Although I could see myself becoming somewhat attatched to the shiny junk if I keep looking at it - best to put it away so attatchment doesnt become a problem.

Historically, silver is actually quite volatile these days.
You are best served buying some impressive car.
Impressive cars cure boredom.

If there are things you need, there's no point letting the silver sit dormant. That's it's purpose - money. On the other hand, think of it this way - If you exchange it for something else you don't need, that something else will deflate/get old/ become obscolete/ rust/ break/ lose it's shape/ be excreated/ stain/ rip/ go out of fashion/ also become boring/ make you sick/ destroy your sex life/ or whatever. But whatever you exchange it for (unless it's gold), will almost certainly head towards zero....

Silver is boring, can't even carry a decent conversation

It always turns into middle class people at work telling me to buy a house to get rich, and at 22

1. Why would I want to be buying a house and getting stuck with debt

2. How can houses keep going up in price forever, that's ridiclious.

It is a bit boring and it takes up space.

Buy sterling silver flatware. I picked up some serving spoons from a member here recently and used them for the first time yesterday.

They are useful, I got to handle them and for storage they go in the kitchen draw not the safe.

Was bidding on some teaspoons but they are currently at $50 each! They are only 1.2 ounce so it is a bit of a premium and I will let them go.

Silver is a good listener.
Try confessing to silver.

"You know, silver...I have a confession to make. I don't think you were ever worth $40 an ounce. I was caught up in the moment and..."

WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT, SACRILEGE.

I think a drawback to silver is that you can easily get excited by silver.

It's a good listener.

It is clean (afterall, it is used to purify water) and you won't catch any STDs (Silver Transmitted Diseases) from it.

Although the price has risen, having gone up and down, it currently isn't at it's all time peak.

There are expectations of another all time high (a natural high with no drugs involved).

I'm too busy to be bored :/

*stops posting on SS for now* :P

ps. But if I had nothing at all to do, then yes, watching the price go up n down would get boring. :|
