I got a couple SilverTowne 10 oz bars, and two 1/4oz Britannia'a that are stamped as Gairsoppa silver. They are awesome. Small, but cool all the same.
Good pick up, those 1/4 Britannia SS Gairsoppa's are from the wreck of the merchant ship that got shot by the German Uboat in WWII, cool stuff. I have 10 rolls of them, got a good deal on themStack'n Oz's said:I got a couple SilverTowne 10 oz bars, and two 1/4oz Britannia'a that are stamped as Gairsoppa silver. They are awesome. Contains:
1960 Silver 10 Lira
1970 Silver 25 Lira
1971 Silver 50 Lira
1972 Silver 50 Lira

EDIT: I checked and looks like they are only approximately 1.8 oz pure silver total. Still happy though - looks like they have some semi numi value built in.

I watch prices and exchange rates go up and down like a toilet seat and all the discussion and always conclude that my strategy of buying a set amount each week is the best i can do. So today I bought the same as I did last Tuesday (pay day) and will probably do net Tuesday. Wheb I look back over the time I've been doing it, I'm glad I did.
