Would there be a special COA that goes with this coin? What would be different other than the box?

Not much interest at $260, but it sold!

So this wasn't a proof or anything just a BU in a box! Pretty expensive box.

I am sure that Silver Stackers could commission the Perth Mint to make a box, I can bring my own coins!

Sure I could knock something up with a colour laser printer...

The coin is a special Bullion Launch Frankfurt issue. The platinum distributors (those with the highest turnover in Europe) were presented during the 2012 Lunar Dragon European Bullion Launch dinner in Frankfurt on the 24th August, 2011. There were only 50 people (two people each from the 25 largest retailers in Europe) who were chosen to receive this coin as a gift. The rest of this special edition, which differs by a special packaging and includes Erstabschlge is less than 100 coins. Usually, such issues rarely get onto the market because they are usually kept by the dealers and end up in a display case.

Erstabschlge means the first 100 or 200 coins, which are produced by a new pair of punches. After stamping the machine they will be individually removed by hand and therefore have no damage (bag marks) on. They show, in contrast to ordinary coins greater lustre. In some countries, eg Germany as it was in this case, they are rarely sold separately for collection purposes.

Seeing as this coin was only released at a European coin dealer event, and was also a gift to an extremely limited number of European distributors, not many people outside of the event at Frankfurt would have heard about this coin or even have one. I saw it last night when it was listed, and I was thinking about purchasing it since then. With only 100 or so coins produced with this packaging, I would say it could now be the only one in Australia, even the Southern hemisphere, unless someone else is able to get their hands on one in the future, or print one up..lol
