American Eagle new design candidates revealed

Most boring coin since 85 in my opinion. I prefer Libertads over them but I'll still buy them cheap when I can.
The silver eagles are in my sell stack with my other boring mass produced stuff like bars and generic rounds. I never saw a value in paying a premium for them at least.
A buck or two over spot is fair.

I really like ASEs, jeep me in mind if you are ever looking to offload some tubes.
 
They made sure you got the E Pluribus Unum message on both sides this time

Looks like lady liberty is off the table too

Now they are just giving you “the bird”

The ASE design has been the same since 1986, so not frequently.. AGE ditto, has not changed since '86 (bar the use of roman numerals for the years 1986-1991).

Maybe, just maybe, the obverses will look nice... although I shudder at the thought of what "refreshed depiction" can mean... :eek:
