afternoon all,
"Don't think I'll ever get to retire now, think i'll be working till the day I drop dead at this rate !"
depends on how you look at it.
There is one gigantic, huge, large, oversized advantage to gold and silver (probably moreso gold) --------------
time doesn't matter.
Your holdings are NOT like other stores of value.
It is not a house - you don't have to paint it.
It is not land - you don't have to pay rates or weed it.
It is not shares - you don't have to be scared that the company will go out of business.
It is not paper money - you have no fear someone will cancel it.
Go fishing for 10 or 20 years ----------- your gold will be exactly as you left it - as long as you remember where you hid it and noone else knows.
You can NEVER lose all your investment -------------------- it is only time. And time will NOT degrade your metal.
Just go fishing - or get on with life.
On another matter - we are nearing our previous low ---------- I said this level looked rock solid ------------ lets see.
If I was right - we could be looking at a double bottom, which could have well been expected.
If it penetrates that low - well, who knows. I hope for everyones comfort it is a double bottom - but if not --------- well, nothing has really changed in the world. Still in the shit badly.
The fed is experimenting with telling us they are tapering --- hmmmmm, I wonder if they really are.
I have said - taper and die.
Well, lets see what happens.
If this blows up in their face (or is bullshit) then this will be the last talk of tapers you will ever hear and we will have either the mother of all QE's or a global reset.
Either way ----------------- your gold/silver is safe.
Lets get back to reality here - we are in totally uncharted waters.
What would you rather be holding - a wheelbarrow of US dollars or a wheelbarrow of gold/silver --------- say for the next decade or two?
Just look down the track a bit ------- in 10 years, will your gold still exist? In 10 years will the US dollar still exist?
Feel better now?
have a great arvo
gazza
