Why do I keep fooling myself?
I'm absolutely amazed it's taken them this long to get some drill samples before digging.Anthony said:From the start of the first season it has been "let's just dig and the gold will come".
I know one very rich person who refuses to pay for marketing or advise, rationalising that the money he would spend doing it himself on a gut feeling vs paying for specialist advice would be similar if he screwed up. Oh, and have you seen Fred Hurt's HANDS? Almost all of his fingernails look like they're about to fall off, it grosses me out every time..
Really enjoying the show, definitely hooked. Watched Season 1 in about 3 sittings, season 2 is different/slightly better, I just want them to run some god-damn dirt already! *considers mining*

The intention is NOT looking to get money from gold (though if they lucked out I'm sure they'd appreciate it).
These shows are a barometer for the public's interest. They are not any more interesting for me to watch than are the property shows and certainly shouldn't be taken seriously..
