Ainslie vs Bullion Bourse

I have bought off Ainslie quite a bit and their prices are usually very competitive however lately their premiums are rediculous. They must have serious shortages going on to justify these prices.

BB 20x2013 Kooks - $564
Ainslie - $655

Im sorry but thats rediculous.

Ainslie's premiums have been redonk lately.... which is odd, because when I first started buying they were amongst the best prices I could find.

Have noted they are coming down in 'some' areas recently, but still charging $35 for a 1oz perth mint coin.... um, no thanks I'll get 'em on back order from one of our site sponsors for SIGNIFICANTLY less....

I will add though, until recently I have only ever bought through Ainslie. They have always been jogging on the spot with my order, and I have been totally happy with their product and service.

I've never bought from Ainslie but I have bought from BB and with each order I've been disappointed in some way. The last order I placed, they had the items in stock (no back order), the payment had cleared and I was told to allow 2 weeks for them to post it. "2 weeks"?! Just to post it?! BB may be cheaper but there are serious downsides to that.

Coincidentally I recently purchased a roll of 2013 kooks, from Goldstackers. Now BB may be slightly cheaper but when the time you place an order til the time you receive it is only a few days (literally 3 days in one instance) then I would happily pay more for the greater service.

BB may be a little slow but always great prices, what does it really matter if you get it in 2 days or 10 days.
I would recommend Tim anyday!!!!!

I have purchased many times from bullion bourse and we do so in the future. Prices are what keeps me coming back for more, postage/ insurance is really keen. Waiting time is just a matter of patience, once the order is placed I know it will arrive as soon as they can get it to me. A++++

All my orders from BB have been good except 1 which was the silver bullets and TOOK 2-3 MONTHS which was a total joke

You guys can keep on debating which mailorder biz you use
I'll keep hanging around the corner of Swanston & Collins st in Melb CBD ;)
:D

I made my 'May 1st' purchase from BB yesterday, and at 3.25pm today, I received the tracking number via Australia Post. If the item is *in stock* they really do step up! If its OOS - thats usually marked on the website. Waiting 2-3 months for something to ship, I expect would have been an issue in the supply-chain.
They're a class act.

Edited to add: As is our Maggie of course! :)

I wasn't told allow to 2 weeks for delivery, I was told to allow to 2 weeks for them to post it. They had my items in stock, they had my money in their account, how can anyone justify making a paying customer wait up to an additional 2 weeks?
If you bought something here on the trade forums and the seller told you they were really busy and to allow them 2 weeks to post your items after they already have your money, would that be acceptable?

I've received items internationally quicker than I've received items from BB, and they're the only place that's ever sent me a wrong item. Great price doesn't make up for terrible service.

But I can't say I wouldn't shop with them again, sometimes they have items I want that others don't have. They're the last resort though.

the first & last time i used ainslie i ordered a few PM kg bars & asked if they were in stock & the answer was yes & when they arrived it was ainslie bars ....hmmm nice way to lose a customer .it was 2 years ago things might have changed .I will say it happened from another dealer too at the time thats why i tried ainslie & got the same treatment so needless to say neither of them got a dime off me again . Im not big on second chances bullshit me once & im done
