Advice Selling Vintage Harringtons 250oz Silver Bar (1978)

Give Michael at Bullion Now a call … he will give you the latest info on how to sell to him/other Aussie dealers (or even one of the local refineries he deals with. He also pays at least spot for everything, in my experience.

Or negotiate with @Bigfella at least there you know it is going to a collector

He hasn't responded.
Is that because, he has sold the bar already ?
( I sent message on day one of the post, but he hasn't replied. I said, I would travel to meet him for a F2F exchange ).

Hi all,

Just wanted to wrap this thread up. A big thanks to everyone for chiming in with advice, links, and opinions – it's given us a lot to consider regarding the bar. Really appreciate the community support.

Also, thanks to those who sent PMs showing interest.

We'll be discussing the best path forward privately based on all the great feedback received here.

I doubt it. Seems to be a 'time waster'.

Didn't respond to 'interested to purchase' on the thread.
Didn't reply to private message.
Didn't respond directly to others who expressed advice on how to sell.
The poster then says 'sorry' didn't see my private message, but admits to responding to others ....
Even when he says he will check his messages .... nothing received.

Glad I didn't pull $12,500. in cash out of bank, and didn't book airfare.

TRUST IS EVERYTHING.
( remember his name )
