Adelaide Meet - Picnic In The Park

It is ever too hot for silver hats..... unless of course, your.... one of ..... THEM.
 
I am starting to think not that much interest in the park setting - nor the earlier timeslot (especially as argento and anonmiss will be working during the day).

Wondering if best to just change venue for this one meet - I have a great little pub in mind if anyones interested

Was going to suggest the Crown and Sceptre on King William Street (but JUST FOUND OUT IT HAS NOW CLOSED :()

Anyone know any other nice pubs in or around town?
 
Hi Guys,

Firstly, I will apologise for all the confusion that I may have caused with the picnic......I just assumed that a bbq/picnic meant lunch.....me bad.

Reading some of the more recent post....I'm getting the feeling that this Sundays picnic may be a non event......

And to save Iluvnumbers from rocking up at a park by himself .....

I think we just right this weekend off and start fresh again and hold our first meet for 2013 on the last Sunday in Feb.

What does everybody think.
 
I think that you are a brilliant man and with a mind like yours we should all be in awe of you.
Now can I please buy a 10oz Koala? :P

Depends on who your meeting......if its strange people in toilet cubicals, with tin foil hats.....then I think the answer is yes :)

How about, I come and visit you at your shop.....we can call it a mini meet......do you drink ice coffee too :)
 
Yeah, mini meet, but cappucino only no ice coffee as I read it is bad for you!

It seems like the interest in this park meet is almost nonexistent. I think i will just wait it out for another month for a bigger, more organised event.
 
What iced coffee is bad for you?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so last Sunday in February it is but remember no iced coffee, just alcoholic beverages...

As I am new to Silver Stackers, I would love to attend the Adelaide meeting.
However, would it be possible to have it the First Sunday of March? I have a wedding that day, and I don't think trading bullion will hold for much of an excuse not to attend!! :)
Otherwise I will have to make to the next one.

Argento - do you always organise these things? I've seen your posts a couple of times for these meets. Nice work!
 
I would like to welcome you to SS Pinkmanwhite.

Past meets have been held on the last sunday of each month at the gilbert street hotel with a 6.30pm start.
This time tends to suit the majority of members that attend....mainly due to work commitments.

Anybody is free to organize a meet........I've been posting the last few as an excuse to take the misses out because she says I don't take her anywhere :)

A hand full of members have already shown interest in februarys meet, so would like to keep this date......

We've all seen what happened when I tried to change this weeks meet.........:o

Looking forward to catching up ......
