I've previously looked at http://www.israelmint.com/index.php for some biblical inspired bullion coins, but am seriously disappointed in the art-work. It looks amateurish compared to the Perth Mint. The bible is the greatest book known to man, and much of the world's most famous paintings are about biblical themes, and this is the best that the IsraelMint could come up with?
Lame. I think they have shot themselves in the foot badly. If their coins had truly beautiful and detailed art-work on them, they would fly out the door... Too bad, because it would be wonderful to own silver & gold coins like that.
