About that safety deposit box debate....

Totally agree.
We have diversity of investments, diversity of storage, we aim to be prepared for a variety of possible futures.

Yes I also agree to a degree. But lately I've been thinking that the more you diversify your storage locations the more risk you're opening yourself up to. Take a precious metals storage company like maybe GoldMoney.com. You can spread your gold out to several different countries. But doesn't that open you up to more risk? Now, if any one of those countries confiscates your gold you lose. Right? I guess it depends upon how you look at it.

I'm one of the few people who have a free safety deposit box. Yet I don't use it. I guess it's more about being lazy for me. My safety deposit box is a 25 minute ride each way. Lol

Keep it at work office in plain site, people are too stupid to realise what it is.

I keep my silver in a licensed precious metals depository as opposed to a safe deposit box. I feel safer with that. Even that has a risk. Anytime you put your wealth in someone else's hands you risk losing it.
