I hadn't seen this mentioned before:

1oz Eureka Silver Coin 999.5

An iconic design for our signature minted bullion collection. Set against an Australian backdrop, the range captures the spirit of a definitive moment in Australian gold mining history, The Eureka Rebellion. On each coin, the Digger stands proudly on his tenement, displaying his newly discovered gold nugget against a blazing Australian sun. All Eureka minted coins and tablets are wholly produced in Australia using the latest in international minting technologies and certified by the NATA accredited ABC Refinery laboratories.

Yeah, I was suprised to see this too. I really like it actually and have been waiting a little while for a dip to pick some up. Do you find it odd that the bar is a fair bit more pricey than the round?

The bars come in certicard
I don't know why they bother with a certicard but I guess there must be a market for them. It just makes them take up more space though and adds cost.

but...but...it has got a kookaburra in it :P
+if its about a gold nugget discovery, why is it a silver round?
+ was't eureka was about a rebellion, not a gold nugget?
+wasn't eureka about that guy overflowing his bathtub?

I'm confused

What actually is a certicard? Looks like just plain packaging to me. $8 more for a packet is pretty steep!

Why would a coin have a Kookaburra on it if it wasn't made of Kookaburras?!
