Apmex has silver and gold Aquarius back in stock $208 US for silver and $280 US for the gold. I think the gold are going to start getting crazy prices , wont take long with just 99 mintage, I am holding off till next week on the gold but I am 99 percent sure I will be starting a gold set along with my 2 silver sets, errr then again maybe I am just crazy.... oh wait its mothers days....hmmm gift for Mom or a gold coin for me.... maybe both! :D

Wonder where they are getting the silvers, must be buying on eBay cheap enough to make a profit when reselling I guess.

is it possible to sell ours to Apmex?

Probably if you are selling at the right price, they have sold some silver Aquarius for $208 US so I guess it depends on what they want as a profit margin.

APMEX, just like any dealer, will give you a price only what they can be sure they can make a profit when flipping the product.

2015 SkullCoins: Memento Mori TAURUS SILVER & COPPER: DELAYED UNTIL MID JULY***

***ABOUT TAURUS SILVER & COPPER DELAY:
We achieved the highest relief yet in this series on Taurus. In fact, it is even too high for our recently manufactured custom capsules. Because of this we need to have new capsules designed and manufactured that will safely protect the top surface of the medals. Honestly, we did not see this coming and did not notice this issue until we assembled and were just about to start shipping orders. We are extremely pleased with the results but unfortunately we will have to take the good with a little bad this time and wait to ship until we get the new capsules. Thank you so much for your support, understanding, patience and enthusiasm with this series!

I don't mind the wait....I've been very satisfied with the quality of every aspect of this series, especially the high relief of the cool designs.

Ya I don't mind either, so far these have been amazing in hand, the Taurus should be even more amazing with "more" relief . I guess only the resellers wont be happy, oh well.

I also see Taurus jumped to $99 US on their website. I guess the delay from the relief issue may make this one more "in demand" or maybe not.

No wonder the after market and eBay prices on the Memento Mori series keeps going up and up - from the SMC mint.....

"As many of our fans know, every month we allocate the majority of our available mintage for sale at special introductory prices. Here are some interesting numbers regarding the speed of sales as this series has gained popularity. That allocation sold out in:
about 5 weeks for Aquarius
about 1 week for Pisces
about 1 or 2 days for Aries
less than 2 hours for Taurus
In addition, the majority of our orders have been for singles of each item ordered. We are also seeing about 100 new people sign up on our email list between each release. We are so happy to know that this series is being well received, thank you!"

Wow they must have just added that. Crazy lol, cant wait for the display case...hope its as nice as the medals, I don't mind paying $60 to $80 for a very well done case, less would be better but I hope they don't cheap out on it, quality is worth paying a bit more.

20.000 x they looked at this average serie on this forum --more than any coin here --maybe 10 people are responsable for this
all the same names who invested in this crap it lost all credibillity what a joke
powercoin got them all (still) that says enough .

That makes no sense at all.

If most orders are for single coins in this series, and there's no reason to believe that this is not the case, then there are hundreds of buyers of this series not including those buyers who are unable to buy because the stock is sold out.

.

I suspect a few buyers have purchased a second set to either give to family or to flip.
I myself have started two collections of the silver and one of the copper.
Haven't always been able to get in on the lowest initial price of the new issues as I didn't enroll for the entire series from the start
, having to buy each respective round based on it's individual merit.
Thus far I haven't been disappointed.

Haven't really purchased much in terms of non-bullion silver this year other than this set and the Definitive 2015 Britannia Silver Piedfort 1 oz .
(My bullion purchases have been mostly RCM 10 oz bars, Scottsdale Mint 5oz silver stackers, the 2oz Silver Privateer rounds)

Cheers,
Luker

Well to start with, Power Coin does not have the first in the series in stock, I know as I have been watching it for a few months now. It has been out of stock for months.

A few posters on a forum is irrelevant as most buyers of these don't post here or even know this forum exists.

I guess you failed to read this:

Eh , some people are not happy unless they are bitching about something.

Go away now.

Well put Northerncoins!

I don't mind people criticizing something (a coin or whatever) but to criticize with stupid comments or with nonsensical blather as some members here do, is a real problem. Razz has made, more than once, some very uneducated and inane comments.

I welcome criticism, even strong criticisms, but only criticisms that are intelligent and sensible.

I hv 10 pieces each from Aquarius till Taurus (pre-order)... and more on the way... :-)

Nice! I think some signs will be worth more then others in the long run, the first in the series will most likely always be worth more then the others but nothing is set in stone as not everyone is building a set or sets. Some will want maybe one or two out of the series which will drive demand for that particular sign etc. But with only 500 mintage of each it wont take many collectors to drive up the value of most of the signs if not all eventually.

Wow! My very tight budget allows me to only get one each of the silver and copper but I'm definitely in for the entire awesome series.

Has anyone heard any news on what's going on with these lately? I seen they were going to ship the silver Taurus mid to end of July. Maybe I'm a bit impatient, but tomorrow is the end of July and nothing on the site. They should be on Cancer by now.

My guess is that the production of the new capsules is taking longer than they anticipated. I'm not in a hurry to get mine....I put my order in early and I know it will be sent as soon as they can. Putting out a high quality collector coin once a month must be a real challenge. Some mints have a hard time putting out a high quality coin once a year!

I am curious, though, to see the next design...thus far, I have been very impressed with the quality of this series.
